There needs to be nothing fancy and super special but simply some fun material to swap that would be of interest to slab, cab or tumble. In return you will receive a box of local minerals from us!!

How does it all work?
EASY!!! The USPS has a flat rock shipping box for $8.95 (there is also a larger flat rate box for under $20). Contact us at webmaster ( @ ) Gem-N-I.org and let us know you want to do a rock swap.

When you come back from a rockhounding trip, pick up some extra stuff to mail and we will do the same!!

It's like Christmas for rockhounds!!

Common local minerals include: Japser, Quartz, Obsidian, Petrified Wood and findings from our field trips!!

The swap will be unveiled in at our monthly meeting and announced in our newsletter. The treasures will be avaialble for club members to enjoy.
